About The Drowned City
The Drowned City is a sunken troll city off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale. At BlizzCon, Blizzard's Nora Mills described ruins that have "suddenly risen out of the ocean", close enough to be seen from the shore.
Levels 35–40. That is Blizzard's own table. Warcraft Tavern's preview article says 35–45; we go with Blizzard.
Few people have played it. It was the first of the new dungeons offered hands-on, on the BlizzCon show floor. The beta, though, stops at level 30, below this dungeon's band.
What is not known. We have not found a published entrance, so nobody can yet tell you how to get from the shore to the ruins. No faction restriction was mentioned when it was announced. Before you agree a meeting point, check a current guide for the way in.
Checked against its sources on 7 October 2026.
