About mrgl
mrgl is a group finder for World of Warcraft: Forever, with step-by-step guides for the things you need other people for. It is an independent fan project, made by a player.
What it does
- The queue: say what you want to run and when you're free, and mrgl finds a time a full group can make and forms the group.
- The board: runs other players have posted, for your region, ruleset and faction, since Forever has no realms and no cross-faction grouping.
- Guides: step-by-step checklists that remember where you got to, for the decisions and dungeons where getting it wrong costs an evening.
- Guild pages: how many members who chose to share are ready for a guide. Never a score, and never a ranking.
How every guide is sourced
Every step cites at least one source, and every citation carries the sentence from that source that supports it, copied word for word and shown under the step. If we can't find a sentence to quote, we don't make the claim.
A guide publishes only when every step has a citation of its own. One loose source for a whole page doesn't count.
We prefer Blizzard's own words, then warcraft.wiki.gg, then press with developer interviews. Boosting and gold-selling sites copy each other's numbers, so we treat them as reported at best.
What “confirmed” and “reported” mean here
- Confirmed: Blizzard has said it, or an official source we can quote does.
- Reported: a credible outlet says it, but Blizzard hasn't. We say so in the text, and so should anyone quoting us.
- Unknown: nobody has published it. We'd rather tell you that than guess.
Kept current
Forever is in beta and the facts move. Every guide shows the date its sources were last checked, and we re-run the research as each beta build lands.
Corrections, in public
When we learn something new, or find we were wrong, it goes on our changes page with the source, including the times we were wrong. What we learned, and when
What we leave to others
Item databases, loot tables, maps and talent calculators are Wowhead's job, and they do it well. Our guides link to them where that serves you better. We cover what to do, in what order, and who to do it with.
