All nine new WoW: Forever dungeons, in level order

Every new launch dungeon with its zone and level band, sourced line by line — including the one Blizzard corrected, the one three sites can't agree on, and the one with three different names.

Levels 13–18 — Hall of Thanes, beneath Ironforge

The entrance is under Ironforge, at 43.5, 52.0 — one of only two new dungeons whose entrance anyone has actually published.

Horde: plan the trip. Warcraft Tavern calls it Alliance-exclusive in one article and, in another, says Horde "must use a few shenanigans to reach its gates" — so it is reachable, awkwardly, rather than hard-locked. The two framings disagree; treat it as heavily Alliance-favoured.

    A boss is Faldrim Anvilmar.

  2. 2

Levels 15–20 — Ruins of Lordaeron, Tirisfal Glades

Above the Undercity. The entrance is roughly 71.6, 11.4 — inside the ruins on the way toward the Undercity elevators, on the eastern side of the main courtyard.

This is the only one of the nine with a published group size: five players.

Sources disagree on faction framing — one calls it a contested instance that Forsaken walk into while Alliance cross enemy territory; another calls it Horde-specific. One guide suggests reaching level 17 before starting, despite the bracket opening at 15. Bosses in order: Witherfang, The Baron, The Abandoned, Bjork, Rath'mael, with Viktor the Vile as an optional fight.

Levels 24–29 — the Wetlands dig site, under three different names

Nobody agrees what this is called. Wowhead's live beta zone page titles it "Excavation Site: Wetlands"; warcraft.wiki.gg calls it "Wetlands Dig Site"; and "Whelgar's Excavation Site" — widely repeated as the dungeon's name — turns out to be a separate, older Wowhead zone entry, most likely the pre-existing surface landmark.

So expect to see all three, and search for more than one. The zone and the band are not in doubt.

Levels 28–33 — City of Dalaran, Alterac Mountains

28–33 is stated by three independent sources. A narrower "28–30" circulates, but we could not trace it to a sentence on any page we fetched — so we are not repeating it.

No entrance has been published. A developer said on stage that the team would find "some roundabout way" into the city rather than a direct walk-in, which is a hint about design, not directions.

Levels 35–40 — The Drowned City, off the Stranglethorn Vale coast

A sunken troll city risen from the sea. Bosses include Zul'Alai, Zin'aka, and a later pairing of Deathless Marrow and Min'loth the Serpent.

The band is contested. Three sources say 35–40, including Warcraft Tavern's own dungeon guide. Warcraft Tavern's preview article says 35–45 — the same outlet disagreeing with itself. We list the figure the majority give.

Levels 40–45 — Krol'dok Stronghold, Riverglades (Blizzard corrected this)

If you have seen 40–55 for this dungeon, that number is wrong and Blizzard has said so. Community manager Kaivax issued a correction: the BlizzCon materials listed an incorrect band, and the real one is 40–45.

An enormous outdoor ogre stronghold. Plenty of sites still carry the old figure.

Levels 48–53 — Alcaz Prison, on an island off Dustwallow Marsh

Worth knowing: the presenter gave the level target on stage but did not say which zone the island sits in. Dustwallow Marsh comes from the fan wiki and from Warcraft Tavern, not from Blizzard.

How you get onto the island in Forever is unpublished. Older versions of the game required a swim; that is not a Forever fact and we will not dress it up as one.

Levels 55–60 — Blackmaw Hold, northern Azshara

On the far northern side of Azshara. Zone and band are well corroborated; the precise entrance is not published.

A coordinate of roughly [33, 32] circulates. We could not trace it to a source we could open, so treat it as a lead rather than directions.

  9. 9

    Levels 58–60 — Shaper's Terrace, Un'Goro Crater

The last new dungeon before the cap, in the hills of Un'Goro Crater. Both sources agree on zone and band; no boss list has been published.

What nobody has published — so you can spot a guide that is inventing it

After four days of beta, these are still genuinely unknown for the new nine:

    • Entrances for seven of the nine. Only Hall of Thanes and Ruins of Lordaeron have published coordinates.
    • Group size for eight of the nine. Only Ruins of Lordaeron is stated as five-player. "They're all five-player" is a reasonable guess, not a fact.
    • Keys, attunements and quest gates — for all nine. No source says there are any. That is not the same as saying there are none, and we will not make that leap.

Only two of the nine are in the current beta build anyway: Hall of Thanes and Ruins of Lordaeron, plus zone content to about level 20. Everything published about the other seven comes from panel slides, not from anyone who has walked in.
