Are Molten Core, Blackwing Lair and Naxxramas in WoW: Forever?
Not announced, and not on Blizzard's roadmap by name. The raids that are confirmed are Onyxia's Lair, Hyjal Summit and Barrow Deeps, all on 9 December. A "revamped iconic raid" is planned for next summer, and Blizzard has not said which one.

None of the three has been announced for Forever
Not yet. If you played Classic, these are the raids you remember, and it is natural to assume they come back. Blizzard has not said they do.
Its roadmap for 2026 and 2027 names the raids that open on 9 December: Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair. Onyxia is the only original raid on it. Molten Core, Blackwing Lair and Naxxramas are not there.
On stage at BlizzCon, Clay Stone, Associate Production Director, talked through the roadmap's summer column. He reportedly said: "The original iconic raids that you know and love have not opened yet, and we're excited for you to rediscover them in the future." That is reported, not confirmed: it comes from one outlet's transcript of the panel, and Blizzard's written recap does not include it. Read plainly, it points to the originals coming later, not at launch.
So a guide that lists Molten Core's bosses, attunement or loot "for Forever" is giving you Classic, not Forever.

What does open on 9 December: Onyxia's Lair, Hyjal Summit and Barrow Deeps
Three raids unlock together on 9 December, about five weeks after launch. All three are confirmed by Blizzard:
- Onyxia's Lair, for 40 players. It is the one original raid confirmed, and the only 40-player raid Blizzard has named.
- Hyjal Summit, new, for 20 players.
- Barrow Deeps, new, for 10 players.
If you came here wanting a big raid to work towards, Onyxia is it. Forty people on one night is a guild-sized goal. Getting ready for the launch raids covers the two new ones.

The Legacy raid challenges name the same three
Forever's Legacy system rewards you, account-wide, for finishing challenges. Blizzard has published the full list, and its raid section has three entries: defeat Onyxia, defeat all 13 Hyjal Summit bosses and defeat all 8 Barrow Deeps bosses.
There is no challenge for Molten Core, Blackwing Lair or Naxxramas. That does not prove they will never come, since the list can grow. It does match the roadmap: these three are the raids Blizzard is building around for now.
Legacy Points and collections explains what the points buy.

A "revamped iconic raid" is planned for next summer, and it has no name yet
Blizzard's roadmap runs from this autumn to next summer. Two columns matter here:
- Spring: "2 new raids", one for 10 players and one for 20.
- Summer: a "revamped iconic raid", and another new raid.
"Iconic" is Blizzard's word, and "revamped" suggests a raid players already know, rebuilt. Blizzard has not said which one. Anyone who names it, Molten Core included, is guessing. The slide itself says "content and timing subject to change".
One more line is often quoted as a hint. Blizzard sets Forever's story "before Molten Core". That describes where the story sits in Warcraft's history. It is not a promise about which raids the game will have.

What to do instead: get a group ready for the three that are coming
Don't spend launch month on a raid nobody has announced. Spend it on the three that have been:
- The two new raids need no attunement. That is confirmed by the developers: there is no chain to finish first, so the time goes on being ready for 9 December.
- Onyxia's attunement is not confirmed either way. The developers spoke about the new raids only. Dungeon keys and attunements has what is known about the old chain.
- The sizes are fixed: 10, 20 and 40. A guild that wants all three needs forty people on the night, and a plan for who goes to the smaller two.
When Blizzard names the summer raid, or anything about Molten Core, Blackwing Lair or Naxxramas, this page will change the same day, and what we learned will say so.
~20 minNeeds a groupFinally, the new raids at launch will not require attunement to enter, similar to the original entry-level raids.
